At a Crossroads.
by A.E. Lee
At a crossroads, nowhere to go, no place to call my own.
No sharing memories, emotions, and love.
Stuck. Living in solitude and emptiness.
You crave to be fulfilled with the love that you know will come.
But when and where are the questions you keep asking?
What is this place?
It is the Crossroads.
Why, oh why, does life throw these paths our way?
When all we want is an easy road to follow.
Do we have to learn more, but why does it have to be so hard?
Because we have to make choices and those choices made, we hope it will lead to our beautiful life of destiny.
So please do not fear the crossroads?

Note from the author. All my poetry is written in my maiden name. I wrote a lot of poetry when I was young adult so just kept it in my maiden name.
